Save up all your sick days for the annual 5 days off festival held at Amsterdam's Melkweg and Paradiso. The festival celebrates electronic music and welcomes musicians from the Netherlands and abroad and includes after-parties, live shows, films, and performances.
The festival began in 2001 and also celebrates dance, theatre and film, with a range of installations, screenings and performances in different venues around Amsterdam as well as at the two principal venues. The festival usually offers a free public concert on the Leidseplein.
