Ah, Amsterdam, a city reflected in 165 canals, singing with thousands of bicycle bells. A small city crammed with all the attractions of the biggest metropolis. Easy to explore but always more to discover. Museums, galleries, still more museums and the Anne Frank House. A glass of genever. A trip on a tram. Those canals, again. And plenty of events to enjoy all year round. We've picked out just a few, below.
Green, Fun, Conscious!
When in Amsterdam, do as the Dutch do and saddle up! The easiest way to get around the city is by bike. No parking problems. No searching for petrol. Take in the sites and avoid the traffic by pedaling along the bike lanes.
We have our own Conscious bike's. There's a rack of them outside Museum Square and inside the Vondelpark garage. For only €15 per 24 hours you can discover the city or countryside at your own pace. All bikes are equipped with two sturdy locks.
Of course, stay safe. Make sure you signal and careful not to get your tires stuck in the tram lines so you don't get squashed by a tram. Follow the instructions given by the hotel staff and only lock up your bike at authorised locations.
