The monthly Maker Market is one of the many reasons we are a big fan of De Hallen Amsterdam.
Located in an ancient – but super cool refurbished - tram shed you’ll find a large variety of surprising creativity and sincere craftmanship locally made in Amsterdam. That’s why this is THE spot to buy local and original goods like bags from recycled materials, organic T-shirts, the book of 500 secret in Amsterdam (yes, a lot to discover), wooden toys, (almost) eatable skincare and even furniture.
Every edition hosts different makers and products, making it entertaining for returning guests as well. Oh and in case shopping makes you hungry… there are plenty of food stalls awaiting foodies to indulge in products such as home-made chocolates, real Amsterdam beers, organic sausages and herbal teas.
Check out their website for additional information and details about the upcoming featured Makers.
When: every last weekend of the month
Opening hours: Saturday 11:00-17:00, Sunday 12:00-18:00
Where: Hannie dankbaarpassage 39
Are you a (secret) shopping addict and can’t wait to get your high? The Maker Store -the HQ- in De Hallen is opened daily and offers a selection of the products.
