To Do
IAmsterdam, YouAmsterdam, WeAmsterdam…
The IAmsterdam card is your key to the city (except it’s a card not a key).

It’s a ticket (OK it’s a card AND a ticket) giving you free access to all GVB public transport around the city (except train travel to and from the airport - sorry) and a chip card (also a chip card it turns out) that gets you into over 40 museums and galleries, as well as discounts at over 50 major tourist attractions and restaurants. There's even a city guide showing you all the best places Amsterdam has to offer.
You can buy the key/card/ticket/chip card for various blocks of time depending on the length of your stay:

- 24 hours - €49
- 48 hours - €59
- 72 hours - €69

Places you can get into for free:

Amsterdam Tulip Museum
Hortus Botanicus (sounds like a Roman emperor but it’s actually a garden)
Hermitage Amsterdam
Houseboatmuseum (a museum full of houseboats)
Science center NEMO
Van Gogh Museum
Artis Royal Zoo (where they keep artistic members of the Royal family)
and many more places…

25% Discount at the following attractions:

Last minute tickets for Concertgebouw
Karos Citytours (a horse-drawn coach tour where the horses do all the drawing)
The Amsterdam Dungeon
Madame Tussauds Amsterdam
Museumboat Quarter line (Lovers…)
Canal Bike pedal boat
