Amsterdam by water. Night or day, alone or with a group, dressed or naked, doesn’t matter. If you want to see Amsterdam from a different perspective, try the canals. They’re the straight things filled with water that run through the city.
Xavier says, “grab a beer, some chilled wine, prepare some bites and rent a boat. If you like; a nice joint will increase the relaxedness. Or the fun.” He laughs out loud and winks. Three times. Which must mean something. We’re beginning to wonder about Xavier.
“No, for real. It is unbelievable how different this city looks from a boat. I was born and raised in Amsterdam, but I am still amazed every time. Corny but true; see my city from the canals!”
If your personal assistant and chef haven’t prepared anything to drink or eat onboard or you forget your packed lunch, there are even some places where you can order food from the water. For example, SOEN for Thai food. Or how about pizza? Then get your boat over to San Marco. Tip - order beforehand, that saves you waiting time!
Where to go? Look around you. Canals - they’re everywhere. Well, not right here on the website, of course, but there’s a lot of them. You can even rent electric boats here or here. Good to know: you don’t need a license! And, helpful tip, if you don’t sink you don’t drown!
When? Try a sunny day if you can.
Please let Xavier know what you thought! Wink at him madly.
