The Nine Streets
‘De 9 straatjes’ are nine small, charming streets located between Raadhuisstraat and Leidsestraat. The Museum District is home to Amsterdam’s luxury boutiques and designer stores. The P.C. Hooftstraat is Amsterdam’s most exclusive shoppingstreet and houses labels like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Mulberry and Ralph Lauren. On the Van
Baerlestraat there is a large Vanillia (popular Dutch brand) store. The Cornelis Schuytstraat is known for its high-end and stylish stores with exclusive and trendy goods.
 
Department Stores & Shopping Centres
The Maison de Bonneterie is an upscale department store. Vroom & Dreesmann offers affordable shopping. De Kalvertoren is a shopping centre with 45 shops. Here you also find a Hema branch, a Dutch chain store. Magna Plaza is an exclusive shopping centre in a stunning monumental building. Amsterdam’s most popular department store is de Bijenkorf, it has a broad selection of fabulous products.
 
Kalverstraat & Leidsestraat
The Kalverstraat houses all the shops you would expect in a big  city like H&M, Mexx, Zara and Miss Sixty. Shops such as Filippa K, Paul Warmer and Shoebaloo are also located in the Leidsestraat.
 
Spiegelkwartier
The Spiegelkwartier is Amsterdam’s centre for antiques and art. More than 70 antique shops and galleries in this area offer an impressive collection of modern and antique art, ranging from paintings to furniture and from jewelry to clocks.
 
Haarlemmerdijk & Haarlemmerstraat
The Haarlemmerdijk and Haarlemmerstraat are busy shopping streets with a number of restaurants and bars. This lively strip offers a great diversity of stores and is ideal for strolling.
