Amsterdam has a lot to offer in summer. Every weekend you can enjoy festivals of different genres. Here's our pick, of which we think there's something for everyone!
1) It's one of the first dance festivals of the year: DGTL. The techno and house beats in combination with the warehouse rave atmosphere is one of the seasons highlights. Oh and did you know they didn't sell meat last year to reduce CO2 emissions and they're taking the first steps to 100% green electricity at the festival? Also the plastic waste will be upcycled to DGTL sunglasses. Pretty cool, right? 15th & 16th of April at NDSM T.t Neveritaweg 1033
2) Do you like beer? Very well, there's a whole festival devoted to the heavenly yellow substance. At BierOost you find the best and newest beers, both local and international. A wide selection of craft beer, good food and fun entertainment and artists make the perfect combination for a day full of joy. Saturday 13th of May 2017 at Jaap Eden IJsbaan.
3) The Netherlands is easily connected to house and dance music. But what about some good old jazz? Three days long at Red Light Jazz known and unknown jazz artists play in the most unique and cozy locations of the Red Light District. 2nd until 4th of June at several locations in Red Light District.
