More Eco. More Sexy. There’s now more to Museum Square.
Our first ever Conscious Hotel, Museum Square, has been completely renovated. It’s even more eco, even more sexy and we’ve gone for a bit of an arty look.
We haven’t moved it. It’s still located in the Museum district, opposite the Concert Hall or Concertgebouw - the perfect starting point for a bit of culture on your city trip. And we’ve got 36 luxurious rooms and a courtyard garden for you to relax and unwind in.
Surprised by art
The interior design was inspired by the flowing shapes and colors of Willem de Kooning abstract expressionist paintings. De Koning once said “even an abstract form has to have a likeness” which perhaps explains why so many people see horses in his paintings.
Everything is still sustainable
We’re still always looking for the most sustainable choice. The breakfast is organic, there are solar panels on the roof and all furniture is made from certified or recycled materials. For example, used clothes and hotel linen has been compressed to form cupboards and shelves in the lobby. Note: guests are reminded not to leave any clothes behind as they may be used for building wardrobes
